Newlyweds Daniel Craig & Rachel Weisz Make Their Red-Carpet Debut

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are out of hiding! The intensely private newlyweds made their red-carpet debut together at the Jan. 4 premiere of Girl With a Dragon Tattoo in Madrid.

Sure, there have been paparazzi shots of the couple, who secretly wed last June, but this is the first time they've purposely posed for photos at a Hollywood event. The Dream House costars first made their romance public in December 2010, one month after Weisz, 41, split from her partner of nine years, director Darren Aronofsky.

Craig, 43, is especially press shy when it comes to his personal life, and now Weisz is too, particularly after a comment she made about children was construed as her intention to have another child. Weisz and Craig already have children from their previous relationships: she and Aronofsky have a 5-year-old son, Henry, and he's got a 19-year-old daughter Ella with his first wife Fiona Loudon.

Although the thriller responsible for their romance wasn't a commercial success, Craig is now enjoying acclaim for his starring role opposite Rooney Mara in David Fincher's adaptation of the best-selling Swedish novel.

During his publicity tour for the film, Craig explained why he refuses to speak about anything but his work: "I think there's a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel," Craig said. "You can't buy it back. You can't buy your privacy back. Ooh, I want to be alone. 'F*ck you. We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta, and now you want some privacy?'"

As for his lovely wife, she recently dismissed personal questions by playing the newlywed card: "I'm a newlywed. I'm still a blushing bride and it's really private. I can't tell you anything. Come back to me later."

Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt Is "Really the Only Person I Talk To"

Angelina Jolie isn't the kind of woman who likes gossiping with the gals at the hair salon. As a matter of fact, in an interview in the January issue of Marie Claire, the actress admits she doesn't have many female friends -- so longtime love Brad Pitt is her primary confidant.

"It was nice for me to play with other girls," she says of working with women while filming her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey (in theaters Dec. 23). "I don't really have girlfriends in movies, if you've noticed."

And as the 36-year-old reveals, the same is true offscreen. "Well, I have a few girlfriends. I just... I stay at home a lot. I don't do a lot with them, and I'm very homebound."

Luckily, Jolie has six kids and a loving partner to share everything with. "I talk to my family," she says. "I talk to Brad... But I don't know, I don't have a lot of friends I talk to. He really is the only person I talk to."
As confidants go, Angie certainly could do worse!

Michelle Tractenberg: Scheduling Prevented Me From Playing Bella in ‘Twilight’

We can never imagine Twilight without our girl Kristen Stewart, but Michelle Trachtenberg told Us Weekly the role was almost hers but “schedules never worked out.”

“There was definitely interest here and there because there’s only so few pale girls in Hollywood,” she explained. “I’ve known [director] Catherine Hardwicke since the movie Thirteen. I was actually supposed to star in that, but I was on Buffy at the time.”

Because of her hit TV show, Michelle says she isn’t too upset about missing out on playing the role of Bella Swan.
“I already have Buffy,” she added. “I’ve already done the vampire thing.”
